Shipment - Prices - Sample dates.
Since our last 2022 update, the coffee we received from Edwin Quea was packed and shipped on the 06 of December with a ETA on the 28 of this month.
We packed the coffee tightly with plenty of film to reduce the potential risk of humidity in the transport. Find Pictures bellow.
Shipping rates: We expected high shipping rates this year for several reasons, firstly other exporters have acknowledged the higher rates this year than past and secondly, we are transporting a small amount of coffee that increases our cost per pound. Non the less, all the quotes we received were about 50% more than expected.
Dates for next year:
Once the coffee arrives in Houston the 28 of December, the coffee will be transported to Plano and stored for a week. After Christmas I will be flying back from Perú to start delivering samples early January.
